Tickets and Pro-am Entries for Oklahoma’s Grand Casino Resort PBA Summer Swing Now Available

Tickets for the CBS Sports Network TV finals and pro-am entries for Oklahoma’s Grand Casino Resort PBA Summer Swing hosted by the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort and FireLake Bowling Center in Shawnee, Okla., May 17-25, are now available.

The Summer Swing will include four PBA Tour title events – the Wolf, Bear and Badger Opens, the PBA Oklahoma Open – and the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort Summer King of the Swing special event involving the four tour event winners plus a “wild card” player. 

Tapings for the finals of all five events will be conducted in a stadium setting on specially installed lanes in the Grand Events Center. Television finals will be conducted on Saturday, May 24, at 11 a.m. (Wolf Open), 2:30 p.m. (Bear Open) and 6 p.m. (Badger Open). The Oklahoma Open finals will be contested at noon on Sunday, May 25, followed by the Grand Casino Resort King of the Swing at 3:30 p.m.

TV finals tickets may be purchased by visiting, by calling (405) 964-7263 or by visiting the Grand Casino Event Center Box Office. General admission all-day passes are available for $25 each day for Saturday and Sunday’s TV shows. A lane-side all-day VIP pass is also available for $80 each day. Tickets for practice session, qualifying, match play rounds (May 18-22) and pro-am day (May 17) are $10 each day or $30 for a week-long pass (which does not include TV finals). Telecast dates and times will be announced later.

Bowling fans will have the opportunity to bowl with PBA’s top stars by entering the pro-am on Saturday, May 17, at 2 p.m. at the FireLake Bowling Center. The basic pro-am entry fee is $65 but for $165 entrants will receive a high-performance bowling ball package that includes the Storm IQ Tour Fusion. Players confirmed to bowl in the pro-am include PBA Hall of Famers Walter Ray Williams Jr., Pete Weber, Parker Bohn III and Norm Duke as well as a host of other stars including reigning PBA Player of the Year Jason Belmonte, Sean Rash, Tommy Jones, Chris Barnes, Wes Malott and Mika Koivuniemi.

The FireLake Bowling Center will also conduct a Win-a-Spot nine-game qualifier on April 27 at noon. The top four players will earn paid entries into the Summer Swing. Entry fee for the win-a-spot event is $150. For additional information call (405) 275-0404, ext. 0.
