PBA League Quarterfinal action continues Sunday on ESPN featuring Jerome Bettis’ Motown Muscle presented by Barbasol taking on defending Elias Cup champion Billie Jean King’s New York City WTT KingPins presented by GEICO at 3 p.m. ET.

After last Sunday’s PBA League quarterfinal win by Chris Paul’s L.A. X presented by over Jesse William’s BROOKLYN STyLES presented by Concrete Software PBA Bowling Challenge at Thunderbowl Lanes, seven teams remain in contention for the 2014 Elias Cup. L.A. X will meet the KingPins-Muscle winner in the semifinal round.

In each PBA League round, PBA League teams are competing for points in a head-to-head series of single-elimination team matches that will include singles, alternate-ball doubles, Baker trio and Baker team formats. One point is awarded for a win in the singles, doubles and trios matches with three points awarded for a Baker team win. Should there be a tie at the conclusion of the four contests, a one-ball sudden-death roll-off will determine the winner which will move on to the semifinal round.

In Sunday’s opening singles match, four-time Tour winner Mike Fagan of the Motown Muscle will meet Hall of Famer Pete Weber bowling for the KingPins.

In the alternate-ball doubles match, Weber will pair up with John Szczerbinski to bowl against Fagan and Chris Loschetter, who won his first PBA Tour title in last summer’s PBA Wolf Open in Milwaukee.

In the trios match, the KingPins lineup will feature three-time Tour winner Scott Norton and one-time Tour winners Stuart Williams and Jake Peters, who will bowl against the Muscle with one-time Tour winners Brian Kretzer and Tom Daugherty, and eight-time tour champion Mike Scroggins.

The Baker team match will include the KingPins lineup of Williams, Peters, Szczerbinski, Norton and Weber facing the Muscle’s Loschetter, Scroggins, Kretzer, Daugherty and Fagan. Kretzer is filling in for Ryan Shafer who was forced to withdraw from the event for personal reasons.

After Sunday’s quarterfinal, the field will be cut to six teams with another quarterfinal round between Chris Hardwick’s Silver Lake Atom Splitters presented by Spiceworks bowling against Terrell Owen’s Dallas Strikes presented by the United States Bowling Congress which will air on ESPN March 2 at 3 p.m. ET.
