NeuLion has created an Xtra Frame mobile app for mobile devices and tablets. The app is now running and available in the Apple App store and Google Play.

The Xtra Frame Mobile App is free to download, but users must have an XF subscription to watch. Subscriptions ($64.99 for 12 months, $7.99 for one month) are available by visiting pba.com and clicking on the Xtra Frame link.

iPhone or iPad users need to visit the Apple App Store on mobile or tablet devices and search PBA Xtra Frame. Android users need to search Google Play or, using your mobile device Play Store, search PBA or Xtraframe.

Xtra Frame, PBA’s online bowling channel, is currently providing extensive coverage of qualifying rounds of the United States Bowling Congress Masters from Brunswick Zone Carolier in North Brunswick, N.J. Xtra Frame will cover all qualifying rounds today, Wednesday and Thursday (starting at 8 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. ET) followed by coverage of the three-game, double-elimination match play rounds Friday and Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. each day.

Highlights of Saturday’s Xtra Frame coverage will be the three-game, total pinfall match between the two surviving undefeated players at 1 p.m. to determine the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds for Sunday’s ESPN stepladder finals. At 2:45 p.m., the final four losers bracket survivors will bowl a simultaneous three-game match, with the top three players advancing to the ESPN finals as No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 seeds based upon their pinfall totals.

PBA League owners Chris Paul, the all-star guard with the Los Angeles Clippers and owner of the PBA League’s L.A. X team, and comedian/actor Kevin Hart, stole the honors during NBA All-Star weekend, winning MVP honors in the NBA All-Star Game and Celebrity All-Star Game, respectively.

Paul became the first Los Angeles Clippers player to be All-Star Game's MVP, scoring 20 points and handing out 15 assists in the West's 143-138 win over the East. Hart, owner of the PBA League Philadelphia Hitmen, won his second consecutive Celebrity All-Star MVP award.

Incidentally, another previous two-time Celebrity All-Star MVP winner was former NFL star Terrell Owens, owner of the PBAL’s Dallas Strikers.

● Dale Csuhta of Wadsworth, Ohio, defeated Gary Morgan of Atlanta, Ga., to win his eighth PBA Regional title in the PBA50 Dave Edwards Toyota Spartanburg Southern Open presented by Etonic at Paradise Lanes in Spartanburg, S.C., on Sunday, Feb. 17.

Csuhta topped Morgan in the best-of-three-game title match, 206-190, 180-181, 234-195, to win the $1,800 first prize.

● Beverly Lanes in Arlington Heights, Ill., will host the second PBA50 Midwest/Central Regional “reduced entry fee” tournament this weekend, offering bowlers a reduced entry fee structure ($155 for members, $225 for non-members), a one-day format to better manage travel expenses, a one-in-four payoff ratio (compared to the standard one-in-three ratio) and a lower prize fund based upon reduced revenues.

The first test event at Elk Grove Bowl in Elk Grove Village, Ill., on Feb. 3 drew a field of 57 players ages 50 and older compared to similar events which averaged 38 entries a year ago.
