Tickets on Sale for Chris Paul PBA League All-Stars Tournament: Fifth Annual Event Returns to Lucky Strike LA Jan. 7

Los Angeles Clippers star guard Chris Paul, one of the founding owners of the new PBA League, will team with PBA to host the Chris Paul PBA League All-Stars doubles tournament to benefit charities supported by his CP3 Foundation.

The fifth annual fundraiser at Lucky Strike LA Live (800 W. Olympic Blvd., across from the Staples Center) will be held Monday, Jan. 7 from 7:30-10 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.).

Details regarding the celebrity lineup are still being finalized, but the made-for-television doubles event will be taped for broadcast by ESPN for airing on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3 at 4 p.m. ET, just ahead of the Super Bowl telecast.

Already scheduled to compete are Paul’s fellow PBA League team owners Terrell Owens and actor/comedian Kevin Hart, along with LA Clippers teammate Blake Griffin and Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams. PBA stars scheduled to compete are Chris Barnes, Pete Weber, Norm Duke, Jason Belmonte, Sean Rash, Osku Palermaa, Bill O'Neill and Mike Fagan.

Paul founded his CP3 Foundation in 2005 as a tribute to his late grandfather Nathaniel Jones and the Winston-Salem, N.C., community where he grew up. The foundation has provided funding for activities ranging from a scholarship program to food drives to recreational support programs for underprivileged children.

Celebrity bowlers who have participated in previous events include fellow NBA stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Rudy Gay and Kevin Durant; National Football League stars Hines Ward, LaMarr Woodley, Jack Del Rio and Reggie Bush, and hip-hop stars Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Lil Wayne and Nelly.

The inaugural PBA League, which features eight teams made up of PBA Tour players, debuts as part of the PBA Detroit Winter Swing at Thunderbowl Lanes in the Detroit suburb of Allen Park, Mich., Jan. 19-27.
