Wes Malott, a two-time Denny’s Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) Tour titlist, will participate in a live online chat session on Thursday, March 29 at 1 p.m. EST on USAToday.com.
Malott’s chat will help promote the upcoming PBA Tournament of Champions, the final event and fourth Major of the 2006-07 Denny’s PBA Tour season, which runs March 29-April 1 at Bradley Bowl in Windsor Locks, Conn., and Uncasville, Conn.

Last week, Malott finished fifth in the 2007 Denny’s World Championship to clinch the top spot in the 2006-07 PBA World Point Rankings and win his first career Harry Smith Point Leader Award, qualifying him for the 2007 Motel 6 Roll to Riches special event. He made a Tour-high six championship round appearances this season and captured one title, the 2006 Discover® Card Windy City Classic. He also finished second in the 64th U.S. Open, the second of four Majors this season.
In his five-year career, Malott has won two titles and accumulated $388,820 in earnings. This season, he set career-highs in point ranking (1), earnings ($146,525) and championship round appearances (6). He is one of several bowlers in the running for the 2006-07 PBA Player of the Year award heading into the season’s final event.
The live ESPN televised finals of the PBA Tournament of Champions takes place Sunday, April 1 at 1 p.m. EST at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The winner will take home $60,000 and a two-season Denny’s PBA Tour exemption.
