The 2006 Columbia 300 Classic in West Babylon, N.Y., will see a record eight PBA Members from the Denny’s PBA Tour Qualifying Round advance to the event’s Round of 64. The event, which runs Dec. 13-17, will be held at AMF Babylon Lanes.

There are several reasons to sign up for Denny’s PBA Tour Qualifying Rounds in 2006-07. Last season, Sean Rash became the first non-exempt bowler to win a Denny’s PBA Tour title when he went from qualifier to champion in the 2006 West Virginia Championship. Eugene McCune consistently entered Denny’s PBA Tour Qualifying Rounds and regained his exemption as the high non-exempt points leader in the 2005-06 PBA World Point Rankings. But to accomplish either of these feats, you have to enter.

This season, Steve Rogers became the fourth qualifier to advance to a championship round when he finished fourth in the Lake County Indiana Classic.
