Nate Clements, Lee Evans, Mario Haggan, Jason Peters and Eric Powell of the Buffalo Bills will join exempt bowlers from the PBA Tour Wednesday night at AMF Thruway Lanes in Cheektowaga, N.Y., for the Etonic Championship Pro-Am at 7 p.m. EST.
The pro-am coincides with the 2006 Etonic Championship, the third stop on the Denny's PBA Tour, which begins Thursday morning and runs through Sunday's live ESPN televised finals at 1 p.m. EST.
Clements, a sixth-year player out of Ohio State, was the Bills first round draft pick in 2001. Evans, the Bills’ first round pick in 2004, has 39 catches for 486 yards and two touchdowns on the year. A Mississippi State alum, Haggan provides the Bills with depth at linebacker and on special teams.
Peters, the Bills’ starting left tackle from the University of Arkansas, signed with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2004. Powell, a defensive end from Florida State, has signed with the Bills after spending two years in NFL Europe.
Three more Etonic Championship Pro-Ams will be held at AMF Thruway Lanes Saturday at Noon, 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. EST
